This page states what we do. It states nothing we cannot show you a document for.
Material is received under quarantine and is not stock until it has been given a lot number, sampled, and recorded. Every vial carries its lot number. Every lot number resolves to a permanent page on this site.
Identity, purity and net peptide content are determined for every lot by [LABORATORY NAME], accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 under certificate [NUMBER]. The accreditation scope covering peptide assay is published at [link].

The certificate for each lot, with the chromatogram and the mass spectrum, is posted at that lot's page before any vial of the lot ships. No certificate, no shipment.
| Purity as area percent | What proportion of the material detected by the method is the target peptide. It is a statement about the detected population, not about the mass in the vial. |
| Net peptide content | What proportion of the mass in the vial is peptide, as opposed to counter-ion and residual water. This is the number your weighing depends on and it is the number most vendors leave off. |
| Counter-ion content | How much of the mass is the salt. Stated so that the two numbers above reconcile. |
| Identity by mass | The observed mass against the theoretical mass for the stated formula. |
This panel is analytical chemistry. It is not guidance of any other kind.
A sample of every lot is retained and held under the storage condition printed on the label. Retention samples are kept so that a question asked about a lot in eighteen months can be answered against material rather than against a memory.
Every lot ever released appears on the ledger, by date, permanently. Lots that did not meet their published specification appear on the same ledger, marked released and destroyed, with the reason. Nothing is pruned from it.
